Friends of Twickenham School

Friends of Twickenham School are instrumental in raising vital funds for the school which are then used for enrichment opportunities for the children and the provision of additional resources. Currently, our main fundraising activity is the rugby parking we provide for events at The Allianz Stadium in Twickenham. We are always looking for more volunteers to help on Rugby Parking days and so we invite you – parents, carers, guardians and staff - to join us in whatever capacity you can! We are also hoping to run more fundraising events and if any parents have ideas for these then we look forward to hearing from you.

In a normal year, we raise over £14,000 from rugby parking and all of this gets reinvested into the school for your children to benefit!

As well as raising funds, we also support the school at open evenings and other events hosted in and by the school. Our hope is to make our families and other visitors feel welcome whenever they come to the school.

How often do we meet?

Our small team meets regularly and welcomes new faces - any meetings are advertised through school and provide an opportunity to plan future events and discuss funding requests from the school. Everyone is welcome to attend. Meetings only last an hour and are always planned to take place in the evening to allow working parents to come.

We need you!

It is paramount that the Friends of Twickenham School continues to grow a stronger team each year to keep events running and to maintain our support for the school. Please get involved, offering as much or as little time as you can. Attendance at meetings is helpful but not essential. We promise you that any volunteering you do will be an effective and positive way of helping you feel more integrated into Twickenham School.
